MOTHER DAUGHTER SPA DAY – DIY FACE MASKS

One of the greatest blessings in my life is the opportunity to be a mother to my children. My youngest daughter and I really have a lot in common when it comes to seeing beauty in the world. She loves to play dress up and try new things. When she sees me wearing facial masks she wants to try one too. This Mother’s Day I thought it would be a wonderful treat for us to have a spa day together and let her try out her own face mask.

There are not a ton of face mask recipes out there for children and teens. I definitely did not want my young daughter using one of mine since they can be too strong for her young skin. I want her face mask to be moisturizing and nourishing.

This is a great face mask that can work for ALL AGES. It is extremely moisturizing and gentle so works great for dry or dehydrated skin and also can help relieve eczema.

CHILD’S MOISTURIZING MASK
INGREDIENTS:

1 TABLESPOON RAW ORGANIC COCONUT OIL
1 TABLESPOON HONEY
1 TABLESPOON OAT FLOUR

Combine all ingredients. Apply gently to your child’s skin or if they are older they can do it themselves. Leave on about 3-5 Minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

I really wanted to treat blackheads with my face mask for our spa day, so I used the Activated Charcoal Mask, which you can find at this LINK.

I hope you enjoy your spa day with your children!
