Sea buckthorn oil has been used for thousands of years as a natural remedy for various ailments, including irritated or troubled skin.<\/p>\n

The name can be deceiving as these little berries do not grow in the sea. They can, however, be found growing on shrubs in coastal and mountainous regions of Asia and Europe. There are two types of sea buckthorn oil that can be extracted from the shrub – fruit oil and seed oil. Fruit oil is generally a dark reddish orange color that has a syrup-like texture, whereas the seed oil is a light orange color that is thinner.
