Why Make Your Own?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Kids love bath bombs! Unfortunately, the ingredients in them are not always the best. In fact, before I started making my own products, I would buy bath bombs for my daughter and she often would get skin irritation from them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients Matter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Making bath bombs can be a little tricky, but once you get used to them, you will really enjoy making them! I like adding Epsom salts<\/a> to mine for added benefits of muscle tension and relaxation. I also love using carrot seed oil<\/a>. Carrots are very nourishing for the skin and have many added benefits, including antioxidants. And as many of you know, adding oats to the bath can help ease skin irritation. Oats<\/a> have an amazing way of relieving itchiness and inflammation topically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even with all of these amazing ingredients, citric acid can still cause skin irritation. If you have a child with very sensitive skin, I would recommend making a bath soak instead or using some gentle bath salts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
