There are several ways to achieve a closer, smoother shave while minimizing irritation and razor bumps. Men\u2019s facial hair can be particularly coarse, and the skin underneath may be more sensitive than expected. Despite how common shaving is, there is surprisingly little discussion about the challenges that come with shaving men\u2019s facial hair. While irritation and razor bumps are common, they don\u2019t have to be an unavoidable part of shaving. Below are a few helpful tips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use a high quality razor with a sharp blade \u2013 preferably one with multiple blades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use a shave gel that acts more like a gel and is less like a cream. Shaving gels allow the razor to glide over the skin, causing less irritation.<\/p>\n\n\n
