Every time the seasons change it gives us a reason to try out new wonderful smelling scents for our home. Here are a few of my favorite winter-time air freshener scents! There are a lot of do-it-yourself recipes for air fresheners using essential oils and I have tried so many of them! But the one I like the best is one using straight vodka. It may sound strange, but it carries this essential oil scent so much better than water! Give it a try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DIY Essential Oil Air Freshener<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You Will Need:
\n1 oz glass spray bottle
\nFilled with vodka
\nEssential oils<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three Different Variations to Try<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Christmas Tree<\/u><\/b>
\n15 drops pine essential oil
\n20 drops fir needle essential oil
\n10 drops peppermint essential oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Fresh Peppermint<\/u><\/b>
\n15 drops peppermint essential oil
\n10 drops grapefruit essential oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Cinnamon Spice<\/u><\/b>
\n3 drops clove essential oil
\n13 drops orange essential oil
\n5 drops cinnamon leaf essential oil<\/p>\n\n\n

Directions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fill your glass spray bottle with vodka. I prefer a dark colored glass spray bottle to preserve the essential oils. Choose one of the variations to try above. Add your essential oils directly to your spray bottle. Put on the top and shake before use. I love the cinnamon spice the best!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
