Creating your own sugar scrub<\/a><\/strong> allows you to carefully select the ingredients that come into contact with your skin, including more natural and organic options. Sugar scrubs provide gentle exfoliation, helping to remove dead skin cells and reveal smoother, softer, more radiant-looking skin. Regular exfoliation may also help minimize occasional breakouts by keeping the skin\u2019s surface clean and refreshed. Coconut Oil<\/strong><\/span>
Coconut oil can be extremely nourishing for the skin. In fact, using straight coconut oil on the skin as a moisturizer is perfectly acceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lemon Juice<\/strong><\/span>
Lemon juice can act as a brightening agent for the skin, giving your complexion a more toned, even appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n

HOW TO USE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Use your scrub on the face and body 2-3 times a week to exfoliate the skin. Ironically, it is not best to scrub<\/em> it on your skin. Gently apply the sugar scrub to the skin in circular motions. For breakouts or extra exfoliation, let the scrub sit on the skin for several minutes in the shower before rinsing off. This allows the ingredients more time to soak into the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recommend throwing out any unused sugar scrub after a couple weeks of making it. As with any completely natural product, it is important to use it up quickly, while it is still fresh. Enjoy your beautiful glow!<\/p>\n\n\n
