Hello!
Bethel here! Welcome to Green Eyed Grace. I originally started my company to provide natural and organic skin care. However, right before Covid hit, the Lord impressed upon me to let it all go. He convicted my heart and I shut down my spa business to be at home with my children. I then began homeschooling, which is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I was born and raised without much biblical influence. I knew who Jesus was but I wasn’t friends with Him, let alone talk to Him. However, about 15 years ago, I began to diligently pursue the Word of God after struggling with work, family and relationships. Then, I started listening to the Bible every evening. Eventually, I made a commitment to read (and study) the entire Bible, from beginning to end. While going through this extensive study, I realized it was positively changing my life and softening my heart towards others.
Now, I read the Bible every day. I have an intense desire to continue studying while sharing God’s love and wisdom with others through writing. Additionally, I feel called to strengthen the body of believers. Even as an introvert, I have learned the value of fellowship, friendship and having a team. I can’t do what I am called to do without the help of amazing creatives like my friend Mindy, who helps me with formatting, and of course my husband and children who help me organize my book so it makes sense!
My husband and I have been married for over 18 years. I have four children (and now grandchildren), I love blogging and studying the Word of God. My family and I enjoy volunteering at church and being part of the community, spreading the love of Jesus. I lead the prayer team at our church and encourage intercessors to be praying for the leaders and pastors. However, most importantly, I’m friends with Jesus and I want to encourage you to be friends with Him too. Because that is the absolute best decision you could ever make!
