My Testimony
I originally started my company to provide natural and organic skincare products and services. However, just before Covid, the Lord impressed upon my heart that it was time to let it all go. It wasn’t an easy decision, but I reluctantly closed my spa business.
When the pandemic shut everything down, estheticians were unable to work for months, which would have been devastating for my business. Looking back, I can clearly see how the Lord protected and provided for me through that season.
During that time, He led me in a new direction. I began writing to glorify the Lord and also started homeschooling my children. Both have become incredible blessings, and I am deeply grateful for the way God faithfully guided our family through an uncertain time. However, I do still love skincare so you will see a little bit of that sprinkled throughout my website 🙂
I was born and raised with very little biblical influence. I knew who Jesus was, but I didn’t have a personal relationship with Him. I didn’t know Him as a friend, nor did I spend time talking with Him. However, about 15 years ago, I began to diligently pursue the Word of God after struggling with work, family and relationships. Then, I started listening to the Bible every evening. Eventually, I made a commitment to read (and study) the entire Bible, from beginning to end. As I immersed myself in God’s Word, I saw Him transforming my life. My heart became softer, my perspective changed and I realized it was positively changing my life and my heart towards others.
Now, I read the Bible every day. I have an intense desire to continue studying while sharing God’s love and wisdom with others through writing. Additionally, I feel called to strengthen the body of believers. Even as an introvert, I have learned the value of fellowship, friendship and family. I can’t do what I am called to do without the help of my husband, family and friends who help me organize my books so they make sense!
My husband and I have been married for over 18 years. I have four children (and now grandchildren), I love blogging and studying the Word of God. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Divinity with a focus of women’s ministry. My family and I enjoy volunteering at church and being part of the community, spreading the love of Jesus. I am part of prayer team at our church and encourage intercessors to be praying for the leaders and pastors. However, most importantly, I’m friends with Jesus and I want to encourage you to be friends with Him too. Because that is the absolute best decision you could ever make!
