True Beauty
Many of us struggle to feel beautiful and sometimes look to products or things to bring joy into our lives. And while using a scrub can build your confidence, some of us still struggle with long lasting confidence. I have been researching confidence for a very long time. I know the depression and sadness that comes from not feeling loved or beautiful. At one point, I owned a spa to help others feel beautiful. I myself know the struggle of insecurity and have always had a passion to help others in this area. However, I have found that there is only one way to truly feel loved, beautiful and confident. That my friends, comes from Jesus.
If you have ever felt that you were not good enough or not pretty enough, just remember, your identity is in Christ, not in this world. Did you know that when God chose King David, He told the prophet Samuel to look at the heart.
“The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
The Ingredients
We’ll talk more about our identity in a minute, but first, let’s talk about the ingredients in this scrub. Pumpkin is packed with enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids or AHAs. AHAs increase cell turnover and give you brighter and smoother skin. This can help even out skin tone and give your skin a beautiful glow.
Vitamins A and C are naturally found in pumpkin. These vitamins soften and smooth the skin and boost collagen production to prevent the signs of aging. Coconut oil and honey are also great for the skin. In fact, honey acts as a natural exfoliant and can be helpful when fighting acne.
Smooth Skin
This amazing scrub will leave your skin feeling silky smooth. As with most at-home recipes, this combination of ingredients does not include a preservative, so use it when you make it. You can add a natural preservative, such as colloidal silver, if you want to make a larger recipe and have it last a little while.
Adjust As Necessary
This recipe can be adjusted to work on younger skin or more mature skin. You can increase the heat of this scrub to make it stronger and make your skin tingle, by simply adding more pumpkin or by adding a dash of cinnamon. To make this scrub more gentle, increase the amount of coconut oil. This recipe is for a single use but you can double or quadruple the recipe if you want a larger batch or want to make it with friends.
INGREDIENTS

Our Identity
Beauty is about the heart. You may be thinking, well that’s just great, because my heart is not doing so hot right now. That’s okay because Psalm 34:18 says that The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Jesus can soften and renew even a hard heart.
We cannot find our identity or value in this world. The enemy is constantly working to break our confidence. Because if the enemy can make us feel really bad about ourselves, we are more likely to make bad choices because we feel so bad inside. Also, if you have always struggled with self-confidence, not feeling beautiful or feeling unloved, satan may be working overtime to make you feel this way because you have been chosen by God. Maybe you are watching this video because God wants to remind you that you are His and He really wants you to return to Him.
If you do not yet know Jesus, please reach out to someone who does, attend your local church, read the Word of God and begin to pray to Jesus daily. When you submit your life to Him, you fill find peace and love. He is the only one who can fully fill a hole in your heart.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11
