Beard Oil and Men’s Facial Oil Serum In One!
Beard oil can really change an unruly beard into a soft tameable one. My husband grows a beard every year for hunting. I love the way it looks but before beard oil, I did not like the way his beard felt against my skin. I have very sensitive skin and I felt his beard was pokey, even after it was completely grown out.
Because of that, I began making him beard oil anytime he choose to grow a beard. Of course, as an esthetician, I cannot just stop there. I also wanted a serum that was great for his skin. So this recipe is different than your typical beard oil because it acts as an oil facial serum as well!
After many different recipes and alterations below is the recipe I most frequently use. The essential oils included are very healing and it has an earthy smell to it. This recipe makes a large batch (about 3-4 – 2 oz. glass dropper bottles). The recipe can either be cut in half or you can make a bunch for your friends.

HOW TO USE:
Apply about a half dropper full of beard oil into the palm of your hand and rub hands together, distributing evenly. It is best to massage beard oil into the beard first, from the follicle to the ends of the beard. Massage remaining beard oil all over face. It takes a few minutes for the beard oil to absorb into the skin because it is so moisturizing.
Enjoy!
