EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

It seems unreasonable that there would be chemicals in eye makeup remover. However, many of these products have unnecessary ingredients. Thankfully, eye makeup remover is extremely easy to make yourself. I LOVE wearing eye makeup. Because of that, finding a natural remover that I felt good about, was really important. I have tried many different recipes and this is the one I loved the most.

I have personally found that using almond oil to remove eye makeup every evening, has helped my lashes grow. Additionally, it is very moisturizing for my eyes which helps eliminate fine lines. Both great things! Give it a try.

Ingredients

  • 75%  pure almond oil
  • 25%  pure witch hazel

Instructions

  1. Mix together pure almond oil and pure witch hazel in a bottle with a seal-able cap.
  2. I prefer a little bottle with a pump, which I apply to a cotton ball.
  3. I gently rub the cotton ball back and forth to remove my eye makeup.
  4. Give the mixture a gentle shake before each use.

ALTERNATIVE

If you need an even easier DIY recipe, you can use pure jojoba oil as an eye makeup remover.  Just apply jojoba oil directly to a cotton ball and gently remove eye makeup.

The recipe above works a little better than the jojoba, in my opinion. My eyes feel so moisturized after I use it and I know there are no chemicals in it!
